The NJBS monthly Showcase Series featured the Peter Karp Band and Tad Schaefer & The Blues Highway Band on Sunday, March 24th at Muddy Waters Gastropub in Asbury, NJ. It was a fun-filled afternoon of fantabulous blues music. Meet the Peter Karp Band members that include Peter Karp (guitar, keys, vocals), Mark Johnson (guitar), Dave Kaiser (drums), Joe Vigliotti (bass), and special guest, Dave Keyes (keys, vocals). The band played one long set of sensational music - at one point, Peter serenaded the audience while standing on a chair.
The Tad Schaefer & The Blues Highway Band opened the NJBS Showcase Series with a mega set of hopping blues. Meet the band: Tad Schaefer (guitar, vocals), Angelo Mancuso (bass), Tommy LaBella (sax), Dave Becker (drums), and Dennis Troy (keys).
Congratulations to the raffle winner -- Steve Schwab who won two tickets to the Tab Benoit, Anders Osborne, and the Mike Zito Band show at the Newton Theatre on August 1st.
