Hurricane Ruth - Live at 3rd and Lindsley

If you like foot stompin' , ass thumpin' , hip swayin' , and jittery gyratin; then Hurricane Ruth is certainly for you!!

There are 14 tracks - only 2 of them are a little over 3 minutes long - with several others clocking in at over 7 minutes long! This is a full-blown , no-holds-barred , road house ready rave-up with energy to spare!

Hurricane Ruth - Ruth LaMaster - has already released 6 previous albums . Her work alongside luminaries like B.B.King , John Lee Hooker , Willie Dixon, and Taj Mahal is enviable by any measure.

The exciting band brings down the house - Producer , collaborator , and song-writer Tom Hambridge is on drums ; Calvin Johnson is on bass ; Lewis Stephens on keyboards ; Nick Nguyen and Scott Holt share the guitar work; and special guest Jimmy Hall shares vocals on the track, " As The Years Go Passing By " , as well as some soulful blues harp on " Make Love To Me" .

Over an hour of excitement , with an impressive range of well-crafted originals and hand-picked covers showcasing Ruth's powerful and irresistible vocals . " Live at 3rd and Lindsley" is one hell of a good time . Can't wait to see Ruth fire up a stage sometime soon! Hurricane Ruth , and her incendiary bandmates , are a most welcome gale force to be reckoned with.
