Chenango Blues Festival


The 29th annual Chenango Blues Festival is held each August in beautiful central New York. The festival is led by Eric and Pam Larsen, along with an army of wonderful volunteers. Pre-festival includes a Summer Concert Series held on Thursdays. The festival kicks-off Friday evening and ends Saturday night.


Kicking off the event on Thursday night at East Park in Norwich, NY was the Nate Gross Band. Nate has been performing for over 25 years; check out his band page: https://www.musicbynategross.com/home Mike Zito closed out the night with a blistering set of blues. The Chenango Blues Festival kicked off Friday night with outstanding performances by the Hi-Jivers, Angel Forrest, and Popa Chubby.

There were two stages on Saturday; performances under the Tent stage included Corey Harris & Cedric Watson, EG Kight Trio, Teresa James and the Rhythm Tramps, and Southern Avenue.
