The Stacy Jones Band was formed in 2003 and constantly lands on many critics "Best Of" lists. World On Fire celebrates the bands 20th anniversary and is a career milestone that is receiving high praise from fans and critics throughout the world.

World On Fire captures a band constantly reinventing itself, producing award-worthy music . Tributes to Aretha Franklin, Willie Dixon, Koko Taylor, Susan Tedeschi, and Little Walter are mixed together with imaginative helpings of Piedmont Blues, Chicago Blues, Memphis Soul, and Texas Blues.
